Patron Ski Pass Program

The Patron Ski Pass Program is a charitable giving partnership between Whitefish Mountain Resort and Whitefish Community Foundation. 

Program proceeds benefit the free, Flathead Valley-wide 5th grade ski pass program, DREAM Adaptive Recreation winter sports program, and the work of local nonprofits through Whitefish Mountain Resort’s Donor Advised Funds.  Since 2002, $1.7 million has been awarded to local nonprofits through the Patron Ski Pass program.

Ski Pass Tiers and Benefits

Individual Pass

Two adult season ski passes for $4,500

  • Includes all the benefits of a season ski pass
  • One preferred Whitefish Mountain Resort parking pass for the Willow Lot near the Base Lodge, reserved all day for Tier 2 Patron Pass holders 
  • Ski/snowboard and boot storage in your private locker located in a private locker room slope-side in the Base Lodge – accommodates two people.
  • A Summer Benefits Package.
  • Use of the WCF transferable ski pass for guests, family, and friends (subject to availability).
  • A charitable deduction.
Corporate/Transferrable Pass

A fully transferable season ski pass for $3,000

  • Includes all the benefits of a regular-season ski pass only transferable, including food discounts, summer fun passes, and summer chairlift rides.
  • The transferable Patron Ski Pass is ideal to share with your family, friends, employees, business associates, and more!
  • A charitable deduction.

Patron Golf Pass

The Patron Golf Pass program is a charitable giving partnership between Whitefish Lake Golf Club and Whitefish Community Foundation. 

Since its inception in 2007, the program has raised over $236,000 from the sale of golf passes to support the Foundation’s charitable work to benefit our local communities.

Only 20 memberships in the Patron Golf Pass program are sold annually. The cost of the 2025 Patron Golf Pass is $3,200.

Pass holders receive the following benefits:

  • Either one transferable Whitefish Lake Golf Club Pass, ideal for use by family, friends, employees, and business clients for one 18-hole round of golf per day; or two non-transferable adult season golf passes.
  • One complimentary golf cart per round of golf when using the pass.
  • $100 Whitefish Lake Restaurant drink card.
  • One season pass to the Whitefish Lake Golf Course Driving Range

The fair market value of the pass is $2,200. For tax purposes, donors are entitled to a charitable contribution of $1,000.
